John Sanchez: About
Storage Room, Makeshift Art Studio; Los Angeles CA
John Sanchez is currently working on a wide array of impractical and unrealistic art-related projects, ranging from portraiture, to performance art, to motion/dance-based works, to mixed-media works on paper, to short film/video artworks. His work has been created and exhibited at galleries and museums throughout the United States.

(2 of 3 Whitney Biennial Advisors recommended his work for
inclusion, but the curators in wisdom and prudence thought
better of it. One of the curators did offer the artist a friendly
out-of-the-blue invitation to their birthday party in Venice
a few months later, so that's something- if one were to make
a concerted effort to view the cup as 50% full. There was also
that ill-fated, quality-time, lunch at Sant Ambroeus, hmm.
In any case, the artist still holds said curator in high regard and
truly misses their positive energy and sunny personality.
