  • (2 of 3 Whitney Biennial Advisors recommended his work for
inclusion, but the curators in wisdom and prudence thought
better of it. One of the curators did offer the artist a friendly
out-of-the-blue invitation to their birthday party in Venice
a few months later, so that's something- if one were to make
a concerted effort to view the cup as 50% full. There was also
that ill-fated, quality-time, lunch at Sant Ambroeus, hmm.
In any case, the artist still holds said curator in high regard and
truly misses their positive energy and sunny personality. 🌈 ❤️ 🌈 ❤️ 🌈
The artist remains very optimistic for 2040.)
